OUR STORY

How we found forever

Two people, one very good basket of figs, and a slow fall into the rest of our lives. A few of the moments that brought us here.

01

Where it started

It began at the Healdsburg farmers’ market — both of us reaching for the last basket of Black Mission figs. We split them over two flat whites and talked until the stalls packed up around us.

02

The question

Three autumns later, on a fog-soft morning walk through the vineyard rows at Belrose, Julian stopped between the vines and asked. Amara said yes before he could finish the sentence.

03

Why Belrose

We lost our hearts to this valley on our very first trip together — the long golden light, the smell of the crush, the quiet. It felt like the only place to say the biggest yes of all.

Your presence is the present

Truly — showing up is more than enough. If you’d like to give a little more, we’ve put together a small registry and a honeymoon fund for our trip along the coast of Puglia.

GOOD TO KNOW

Questions & answers

A few things guests often ask. Still curious about something? Add it to your RSVP note and we’ll get right back to you.

What should I wear?

The dress code is garden formal — think florals, linen, and soft neutrals. Ladies, we recommend block heels or wedges for the lawn and terrace.

When should I RSVP by?

Kindly RSVP by August 15, 2026 using the form on this site so we can finalize seating and catering.

Can I bring a plus-one?

Your invitation notes the seats reserved for you. If you have a question about an additional guest, just reach out through the RSVP form.

Are children welcome?

We adore your little ones, but our celebration will be an adults-only evening. Ask us — we’re happy to recommend trusted local sitters.

Where do I park?

Complimentary valet and self-parking are available at Belrose Estate, and a shuttle runs from the recommended hotels. Details are in Travel & Stay.

Indoors or outdoors?

The ceremony and cocktail hour are outdoors among the vines; dinner and dancing move into the covered Pavilion. We’ll have heaters and wraps as the evening cools.

Is there a registry?

Your presence is the greatest gift. If you’d like to give more, our registry and honeymoon fund are linked in the Registry section.

May I take photos during the ceremony?

We’re having an unplugged ceremony — please keep phones away so everyone is fully present. Share your reception candids with us via #AmaraAndJulian.
